The LC1F115V5 is a 3-pole contactor from the TeSys F range, rated for 55 kW motor switching at 380–400 V AC in AC-3 duty (the standard category for squirrel-cage motor starting). That 55 kW figure at 400 V is the load the contactor handles in normal starting and running — not the resistive-heater rating, which is higher. For AC-1 resistive loads the thermal current (Ith) is 200 A at 50 Hz, with 15 W dissipation per pole. Control circuit is 400 V AC 50 Hz, with a pickup range of 0.85–1.1 Uc and drop-out between 0.35–0.55 Uc. Inrush is 550 VA at 50 Hz; hold-in drops to 45 VA. Operating time is 23–35 ms closing, 5–15 ms opening — fast enough for most motor control but not for high-speed reversing without interlocking.
This part is in end-of-life (hot) phase — the manufacturer has flagged it for discontinuation. No official successor order code appears in the record. If you are freezing a new design, consider whether a current-production TeSys F variant with the same footprint and ratings can be qualified.
Mounts on a plate — not DIN rail. Dimensions are 162 mm high, 163.3 mm wide, 171 mm deep. Power circuit connections accept bar (up to 20 x 3 mm busbar), ring lugs, or connectors for up to 95 mm² cable. Control circuit uses screw clamp terminals for 1–4 mm² flexible or solid. Tightening torque is 10 N·m on the power circuit, 1.2 N·m on the control circuit. IP2X front face with shrouds per IEC 60529.
