The Schneider LC1K0610FE7 is a 3-pole contactor from the TeSys K series, rated for motor control duty at 6 A in AC-3 and AC-3e utilisation categories up to 440 V. The 6 A figure means it handles motors drawing that current during running; the inrush during start is higher but the contactor is designed for that duty cycle per EN/IEC 60947-4-1. The coil is 115 V AC, drawing 30 VA inrush and 4.5 VA hold-in power at 20 °C. Heat dissipation is 1.3 W, which matters for enclosure temperature rise when multiple contactors are ganged on a DIN rail. Electrical durability is rated at 1.3 million cycles at 6 A AC-3, and mechanical durability at 10 million cycles. The B10d value for the contactor under nominal load is 1,369,863 cycles per EN/ISO 13849-1, which is relevant if this contactor is used in a safety-related control circuit.
Integration notes
The contactor has one built-in instantaneous NO auxiliary contact. Screw clamp terminals accept 1.5 to 4 mm² solid or 0.75 to 4 mm² flexible wire, with a tightening torque of 0.8 to 1.3 N·m. The IP2X finger protection per VDE 0106 means it is safe for open-panel use where accidental contact is a concern. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating. The coil operates between 0.8 and 1.15 times the rated control voltage, and drops out at or above 0.2 Uc below 50 °C. Minimum switching capability for the signalling circuit is 5 mA at 17 V, so it can handle low-level PLC inputs without issues.
