Rated AC-3/AC-3e at 6 A up to 440 V, it handles the standard reversing duty for small three-phase motors: conveyors, hoists, or any load that needs forward/reverse switching. The 400 V AC coil matches common European control voltages, and the 1 NO auxiliary contact gives one feedback signal to the PLC or status lamp.
At 6 A AC-3, this contactor is sized for motors up to roughly 2.2 kW at 400 V three-phase. The AC-3e rating extends the same duty to energy-efficient motors with slightly higher inrush. AC-4 covers plugging and inching, so the contactor can handle frequent reversals without derating — relevant for the reversing application it was built for.
Integration notes
IP20 finger-safe protection (VDE 0106) means it is suitable for enclosed panels where operators do not contact live parts. The preassembled reversing busbar eliminates one wiring step: just land the incoming three-phase supply and the motor leads to the output terminals.
Approvals and environmental ratings
Flame retardance meets UL 94 V1 and NF F 16-101/102, so it passes rail and industrial fire-safety requirements. Protective treatment conforms to IEC 60068 and DIN 50016 for corrosion resistance. Operating altitude is 2000 m without derating; ambient temperature range is -25 to 50 °C for operation, -50 to 80 °C for storage. Shock and vibration ratings per IEC 60068-2-27 and IEC 60068-2-6 are documented for both closed and open contactor states — useful if the panel is on a moving platform or near heavy machinery.
