It carries 12 A in AC-3 duty, which is the motor-switching category per IEC 60947-4-1, so it's sized for a motor drawing roughly 5.5 kW at 400 V three-phase. The coil is 415 V AC, common in European 400 V line supplies where the coil taps the line-to-line voltage.
The 3 x 3P (3 NO) power pole configuration means it has three sets of three normally-open main contacts — nine total — arranged to handle the star, delta, and line contactors in a single package. That saves panel space and wiring time compared to building the same circuit from three separate contactors.
Where it goes and how it holds up
It derates above 3000 m altitude, which matters if the panel sits in a high-altitude plant or mine site. The 850 °C fire resistance and V1 flame retardance per UL 94 mean it won't propagate a flame in a fault condition — a requirement for most panel-build standards.
