The TeSys LC4D12AQ7 is a direct-on-line (DOL) starter that combines a fuse disconnector and a contactor in a single unit, rated for AC-3 duty at 16 A and 380 V AC. It switches motor loads up to 5.5 kW at 380–400 V AC or 7.5 kW at 500 V AC — the AC-3 rating governs the motor-switching capability, not the resistive-heater curve. The coil pulls in at 380 V AC 50/60 Hz.
Mounts on a plate — no DIN rail clip here, so plan for a backplate or sub-panel with the 173 mm height, 86 mm width, and 98 mm depth. The fuse-disconnector section means the upstream short-circuit protection is built in; you wire the line side to the fused input and the load side to the motor. Spring-cage or screw terminals depending on the variant — verify the termination style on the nameplate before wiring.
