Product details

The TeSys LC4D18AD7 is a DOL starter combining a fuse disconnector and contactor in one unit, rated for AC-3 motor switching at 18 A with a 42 V AC 50/60 Hz coil. The 18 A operational current (Ie) governs the motor full-load current it can handle, not the inrush.

The LC4D18AD7 carries a 42 V AC coil, while the LC4D18AD5 uses a 48 V AC coil — that is the only difference between the two order codes. Everything else (18 A rating, AC-3 category, DOL starter composition, plate mounting, dimensions) is identical. If your control voltage is 42 V, this is the variant; if it is 48 V, step to the AD5.

Mounts to a plate (not a DIN rail) — factor that into panel layout if you are replacing a DIN-mounted starter. Dimensions: 173 mm height, 86 mm width, 98 mm depth.
