The Schneider Electric TeSys LC4D18AP7 is a direct-on-line (DOL) starter that combines a contactor and a fuse disconnector in one unit — a common space-saving approach for motor control panels where you need both switching and short-circuit protection in a single footprint. The 230 V AC coil matches standard line-voltage control circuits.
Motor power across supply voltages
At 500 V AC it drives a 10 kW motor; at 415 V or 440 V it handles 9 kW; at 380...400 V it's good for 7.5 kW; and on 220...230 V it covers 4 kW. That spread tells you the starter is designed for European-standard three-phase networks — 400 V class is the sweet spot, but it works across the common 220–500 V range without derating the contactor's AC-3 current.
Mounts on a plate (not DIN rail), so plan for screw-fixing to a backplate or sub-panel. Verify your enclosure depth clears the 98 mm projection, especially if the panel door has a deep-break handle or a gland plate behind the mounting surface.
