The Schneider LC4D65P7 is a direct-on-line (DOL) starter combining a contactor and fuse-disconnector in one unit, rated for AC-3 utilisation category at 65 A. AC-3 is the standard duty for squirrel-cage motor starting and switching off during running — the 65 A figure governs the motor full-load current it can handle, not the resistive heating current. At 380…400 V AC that translates to 30 kW motor power; at 415 V it supports 37 kW, and at 660…690 V it also carries 37 kW.
This DOL starter mounts to a plate, not a DIN rail — the 281 mm width, 143 mm height, and 130 mm depth require a backplate or sub-panel with clearance for the fuse-disconnector handle and cable entry. It is part of the TeSys range, designed for motor control centres and standalone starter enclosures where a fused disconnect and contactor are needed in one compact footprint.
