The LE3250U33X is a Micrologic LSI trip unit for the PowerPacT L molded-case breaker family, rated for the 3.3S frame size and adjustable from 70 A to 250 A. It provides LSI protection — long-time, short-time, and instantaneous — for distribution and motor feeder circuits in commercial and industrial switchboards.
The 3.3S frame is a specific mechanical platform inside the PowerPacT L range. The LSI protection curve covers long-time delay (L), short-time delay (S), and instantaneous (I) — the same three functions a distribution panel needs for selective coordination downstream. The 70 A to 250 A adjustment range means one trip unit covers multiple breaker ratings; you set the pickup at commissioning. No ground-fault (LSIG) here — if the spec calls for GF, this isn't the one.
Deployment context
Mounts inside the PowerPacT L breaker case — it's not a standalone device. The trip unit plugs into the breaker's cradle, and the breaker itself bolts into a panelboard or switchboard. No DIN rail, no enclosure rating on the trip unit alone; the breaker's IP rating governs the installed assembly.
