The Schneider Electric LE4D09U7 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the TeSys LE range, built for standard motor starting applications. It integrates a contactor and a fuse disconnector in a single IP65 polycarbonate enclosure, with a thermal overload relay ordered separately. The unit is rated for AC-3 utilisation category, meaning it is designed to switch squirrel-cage induction motors on and off under load — the typical duty for pumps, fans, and conveyors. Motor power capability spans 2.2 kW at 220/230 V up to 5.5 kW at 500 V, with 4 kW available at the common 380–440 V supply levels.
