Function & operation
This enclosed starter combines a contactor, fuse disconnector, and pushbutton station in one IP65 housing. The 9 A AC-3 rating covers 4 kW motor loads at 400 V three-phase; the associated fuse rating is 12 A (10 x 38 mm, aM type). The thermal overload relay is ordered separately — the unit ships with the contactor and fuse carrier only.
Applications
TeSys LE enclosed starters are used for direct-on-line starting of three-phase motors in industrial and commercial installations — pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors. The IP65 enclosure allows wall-mounting in washdown or dusty environments without a separate cabinet.
