Overview
The LE4D12V7 is a Schneider TeSys LE enclosed DOL starter, order code LE4D12V7, rated for 12 A switching current with a 400 V AC coil, housed in an IP65 polycarbonate enclosure with IK07 impact protection.
Function & operation
This starter combines a contactor, fuse disconnector, and push-button controls (green start, red stop/reset) in one enclosure; a thermal overload relay is ordered separately. The 12 A switching current under AC-3 utilization covers standard motor starting duty, and the associated fuse rating is 16 A (10 x 38 mm, aM) for short-circuit protection. The design complies with IEC 60947-4-1.
Applications
TeSys LE enclosed starters are used in industrial motor control for direct-on-line starting of three-phase motors in applications such as conveyors, pumps, fans, and compressors where a compact, self-contained solution is needed.
