The LE4D18FE7 is a Schneider Electric TeSys LE enclosed direct-on-line starter — a self-contained motor-starting package rated for AC-3 duty (switching squirrel-cage motors). It integrates a contactor and fuse disconnector in one IP65 polycarbonate enclosure; the thermal overload relay is ordered separately.
Motor power coverage by supply voltage
The starter covers a useful voltage range: 4 kW at 220/230 V, 7.5 kW at 380/400 V, 9 kW at 415 V and 440 V, and 10 kW at 500 V — all at 50/60 Hz. That means one order code handles the common 400 V class motor up to 9 kW and stretches to 10 kW on 500 V supplies.
Enclosure and environmental fit
The polycarbonate body (330 x 186 x 175.5 mm) accepts multiple cable-entry sizes (ISO 20 through ISO 40) on top and bottom, so gland-plate planning is straightforward.
Designed to IEC 60947-4-1 (the standard for contactors and motor-starters). The associated fuse rating is 20 A aM (10 x 38 mm), which provides short-circuit protection coordinated with the starter's breaking capacity.
