The LE4D18G7 is a TeSys LE enclosed direct-on-line starter from Schneider Electric. It combines a contactor and fuse disconnector in one IP65 polycarbonate box, ready to mount near the motor. The thermal overload relay is ordered separately, so you match the overload to the motor full-load amps. In AC-3 duty — the standard category for squirrel-cage motor starting — it switches 10 kW at 500 V AC, 9 kW at 415/440 V, 7.5 kW at 380/400 V, and 4 kW at 220/230 V. That covers most three-phase induction motors in the 7.5–10 kW range depending on your line voltage.
The IP65 polycarbonate enclosure is rated IK07 for impact resistance, so it handles washdown and moderate mechanical abuse on the plant floor. Cable entries are pre-punched: two each of ISO20, ISO25, ISO32, and ISO40 on both top and bottom — you knock out what you need. Dimensions are 186 mm wide, 330 mm high, 175.5 mm deep. Ambient operating range is -5 to 40 °C. The associated fuse rating is 20 A, 10 x 38 mm aM type — that's the short-circuit backup protecting the starter. Built to IEC 60947-4-1, the standard for contactors and motor-starters. Standard environment rating means it's for normal industrial atmospheres, not corrosive or hazardous locations.
