The Schneider Electric LE4D18M7 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the TeSys LE range, built for standard motor-starting duty in a single enclosure. It integrates a contactor and fuse disconnector; the thermal overload relay is ordered separately. Rated for AC-3 utilisation category, it delivers motor power ratings of 7.5 kW at 380/400 V AC, 9 kW at 415/440 V AC, and 10 kW at 500 V AC, all at 50/60 Hz. The control circuit runs on 220 V AC 50/60 Hz. The enclosure is rated IP65 and IK07, so it handles washdown environments and moderate mechanical impact — suitable for standalone mounting near the motor on a packaging or processing line, not inside a climate-controlled panel. Ambient operating range is -5 to 40 °C.
The associated fuse rating is 20 A, 10 x 38 mm aM — a motor-protection fuse that coordinates with the starter to clear faults without damaging the contactor. Cable entries are provided top and bottom in ISO 20, 25, 32, and 40 sizes, giving flexibility for different cable gland diameters. The polycarbonate enclosure is lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
