The LE4D18V7 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter from the Schneider TeSys LE range, built for standard motor starting in a single enclosure. It integrates a contactor, fuse carrier, and two pushbuttons (green start, red stop/reset) in a polycarbonate box rated IP65 and IK07. The thermal overload relay is ordered separately. Rated conventional free-air thermal current (Ith) is 18 A, and the utilisation category is AC-3, so it handles squirrel-cage motor switching up to that current. Motor power depends on line voltage: 10 kW at 500 V, 9 kW at 415/440 V, 7.5 kW at 380/400 V, and 4 kW at 220/230 V. The associated fuse is a 20 A aM 10x38 mm cartridge.
Where it goes and what it connects to
IP65 and IK07 mean this box is built for washdown environments or outdoor installation — think pump houses, conveyor lines, or any spot where dust and hose-down water are a concern. Cable entries are provided top and bottom in ISO20, ISO25, ISO32, and ISO40 sizes (two of each per face). Ambient operating range is -5 to 40 °C.
