It ships as a complete unit with a 400 V AC coil, push-button reset, and an IP65 polycarbonate enclosure — ready for standalone mounting in washdown or dusty environments.
The 18 A thermal current (Ith) is the continuous rating in open air; for motor duty, the AC-3 category governs switching of squirrel-cage motors during starting and plugging. The motor power table covers 4 kW at 220/230 V AC up to 10 kW at 500 V AC — the 9 kW at 415 V AC and 7.5 kW at 380/400 V AC are the most common European line voltages. The 400 V AC coil matches standard three-phase control circuits without a separate transformer.
Cable entries are provided top and bottom for ISO20, ISO25, ISO32, and ISO40 glands, giving flexibility for incoming supply and outgoing motor cables. The device composition requires a separately ordered thermal overload relay and a contactor fuse disconnector; the enclosure is pre-drilled for these components. The associated fuse rating is 20 A aM (10 x 38 mm) for short-circuit protection.
