The Schneider LE4D25V7 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter from the TeSys LE range — a pre-wired package that combines a contactor, fuse carrier, and two pushbuttons (green start, red stop/reset) in a single polycarbonate enclosure. It's built for standard motor-starting duty on three-phase induction motors, rated AC-3 per IEC 60947-4-1, so it handles the inrush of squirrel-cage motors during start-up and breaks the running current under load. The 400 V AC coil matches 380–440 V line supplies common in European and Asian industrial plants. Motor power ratings span 5.5 kW at 220/230 V up to 15 kW at 500 V — the 11 kW at 400 V is the typical sizing for a standard 15 hp motor.
Enclosure and environmental fit
The polycarbonate housing won't corrode, but it's not rated for high-pressure spray or submersion. Dimensions are 330 mm high, 186 mm wide, 175.5 mm deep. Cable entries are pre-punched for ISO 20, 25, 32, and 40 glands top and bottom — two per size — giving flexibility for incoming supply and motor leads.
