Rated for AC-3 utilisation category per IEC 60947-4-1, this starter switches 4 kW at 380/400 V AC 50/60 Hz and 4 kW at 415 V and 440 V, with a reduced 2.2 kW rating at 220/230 V. The 9 A thermal current and 12 A aM fuse recommendation set the upstream protection boundary — the starter itself contains no overload relay; a separate thermal overload must be ordered and wired in series. The IP65 enclosure makes it suitable for installation directly on machine frames or in washdown zones where a panel-mounted contactor would require a separate enclosure.
The enclosure measures 175 mm wide, 165 mm high, and 146 mm deep, with multiple cable entry options: four ISO20 knockouts (top and bottom) plus two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 entries on the top face. The polycarbonate housing is self-extinguishing and carries the IK09 impact rating, so it withstands incidental tool strikes during maintenance.
