The IP55 polycarbonate enclosure keeps dust and hose-directed water out, which makes it a fit for washdown areas, light industrial floors, and outdoor shelters where a panel isn't practical.
Built-in controls and safety integration
This starter ships with the operator controls already mounted: a white push-button for start, a black push-button for stop, and a red rotary emergency-stop handle. That means you don't need to source and wire separate push-button stations — the E-stop is wired into the contactor coil circuit so it drops the starter directly. The device is classified as a safety device (IEC 60204-1), so it's intended for the hazard-guarding circuit of a machine, not just a general-purpose start/stop box. The emergency-stop rotary handle gives a positive-break indication, which is what a safety inspector looks for.
