The Schneider Electric TeSys LG1D182Q720 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter that integrates a contactor, switch disconnector, and circuit-breaker in a single IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. Rated for AC-3 utilisation category, it switches motor loads up to 4 kW at 220/230 V AC, 7.5 kW at 400/415 V AC, or 9 kW at 440 V AC — all at 50/60 Hz. The thermal protection adjustment range of 13 to 18 A lets you dial in the overload setting to match the motor full-load current within that window. Control is via the integrated pushbuttons: a white start (I), a black stop (O), and a red rotary emergency stop handle.
Where it goes and what it withstands
The IP55 rating means the enclosure is dust-protected and can handle water jets from any direction — suitable for washdown areas, outdoor installations, and dusty industrial floors. Cable entry is provided through four knockouts: two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 on both the top and bottom faces.
