The LG1K065N703 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the Schneider Electric TeSys LG range, combining a contactor, switch disconnector, and circuit-breaker in one IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. It is rated for AC-3 motor starting duty with a thermal protection adjustment range of 0.25...0.4 A and a 400/415 V AC 50/60 Hz control coil. The enclosure carries an IK07 impact rating and complies with IEC 60947-4-1 and IEC 60204-1.
The 0.25...0.4 A thermal protection range governs the motor full-load current it can protect — that works out to roughly 0.06 kW at 230 V or 0.09 kW at 400 V, so this starter is sized for fractional-horsepower motors like small pumps, fans, or conveyors. The 400/415 V AC coil means the control circuit must supply that voltage; it will not pick up on a 230 V control transformer without a coil change. The IP55 enclosure and polycarbonate construction suit it for standard indoor environments where dust and splash are present, but not for high-pressure washdown or corrosive atmospheres.
Integration note
The enclosure measures 165 mm deep by 175 mm wide by 165 mm high, with cable entries accommodating 2 x Pg 13 and 2 x Pg 16 glands on both top and bottom faces. The push-button controls are factory-fitted: white start, black stop, and a red rotary emergency stop handle. It mounts directly to a wall or machine frame — no DIN-rail footprint — so panel layout should account for the fixed hole pattern.
