Integrator note — what this box does on the line
The LG1K065P706 is a fully enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the TeSys LG family, integrating a contactor, switch disconnector, and circuit-breaker in a single polycarbonate enclosure rated IP55 and IK07. It is designed for standard-environment safety applications (IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60204-1) where you need a compact, pre-wired motor start/stop station with integrated thermal overload protection. The thermal protection adjustment range is 1...1.6 A, which means it directly protects small motors — typically 0.25 kW at 220/230 V AC, 0.55 kW at 400/415 V AC, and 0.55 kW at 440 V AC — all at 50/60 Hz. The AC-3 utilisation category confirms it is rated for switching squirrel-cage induction motors under starting and stopping duty. Cable entry is provided by four knockouts: 2 x Pg 13 and 2 x Pg 16 on both top and bottom faces.
Sourcing and lifecycle — active, quoted to order
Because it is an active TeSys LG model, there is no forced replacement or last-time-buy window. For BOM-freeze planning, this part should remain orderable through normal supply routes for the foreseeable future. No official successor order code exists — it is the current generation.
Mounting and integration — enclosure-ready
The polycarbonate enclosure measures 175 mm wide × 165 mm high × 165 mm deep. It is designed for wall or panel mounting in standard environments — no DIN-rail adapter needed. IK07 impact resistance protects against 0.5 J mechanical shocks. Cable entry is pre-punched for 2 x Pg 13 and 2 x Pg 16 glands top and bottom. This gives flexibility for top-entry mains and bottom-entry motor cables, or vice versa. The push-buttons and emergency-stop handle are factory-fitted — no additional panel drilling or component mounting required.
