Enclosed DOL Starter for Motor Control
The Schneider Electric TeSys LG1K065V706 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter rated for AC-3 duty, switching motor loads up to 0.55 kW at 400/415 V AC 50/60 Hz. The thermal protection adjustment range of 1 to 1.6 A sets the overload trip point for the connected motor — set it to the motor nameplate full-load current, not the starter's maximum. The IP55 polycarbonate enclosure makes it suitable for washdown environments and outdoor cabinets where dust and hose-directed water are present. The unit integrates a contactor, a circuit-breaker with thermal-magnetic protection, a switch disconnector, and two pushbuttons (white start, black stop) plus a red rotary emergency-stop handle.
The polycarbonate enclosure measures 175 mm wide by 165 mm high by 165 mm deep. Four cable entries are provided: two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 on both the top and bottom faces, giving flexibility for top-entry or bottom-entry conduit runs. The enclosure is designed for wall or panel mounting — no DIN-rail clip, so plan for screw-fixing points when laying out the cabinet.
