The Schneider Electric TeSys LG7K06B708A29 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter, built for controlling and protecting a three-phase motor from a single enclosure. It integrates a contactor, a circuit-breaker with thermal-magnetic protection, and a padlocking device — all pre-wired inside a polycarbonate box rated IP55 and IK07. The control circuit runs on 24 V AC 50/60 Hz, and the thermal protection adjustment range is 2.5...4 A. In AC-3 duty (the standard category for starting squirrel-cage motors), it handles 0.75 kW at 220/230 V AC, 1.5 kW at 400/415 V AC, and 1.5 kW at 440 V AC. The push-button start (white I), stop (black O), and mushroom-head emergency stop (red) are integrated on the cover, so this is a standalone start/stop station with motor protection — no separate panel wiring needed for the controls.
Enclosure and mounting notes
The enclosure measures 175 mm wide by 165 mm high by 177 mm deep. Cable entries are four knockouts: two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 on both top and bottom faces — that gives you four entry points per face, enough for the incoming supply, motor cable, and any auxiliary wiring. The polycarbonate material is UV-stable for outdoor mounting but the IP55 rating assumes the knockouts are sealed with appropriate glands. No DIN-rail mounting here; the enclosure is designed for direct wall or machine-frame mounting via the integral lugs. The padlocking device on the circuit-breaker handle allows lockout/tagout compliance — a standard safety practice per IEC 60204-1.
