The TeSys LG7K06M708A29 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the TeSys LG range, combining a contactor, circuit-breaker, and padlocking device in a single IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. It is rated for AC-3 duty and provides thermal motor protection adjustable from 2.5 to 4 A, with a 220/230 V AC 50/60 Hz control coil.
The 2.5-4 A thermal adjustment range sets the motor full-load current it protects — sized for a 0.75 kW motor at 230 V or a 1.5 kW motor at 400/415 V three-phase. The AC-3 utilisation category means it is designed for starting squirrel-cage motors and switching them off while running, not for resistive loads. The IP55 enclosure (with IK07 impact resistance) makes it suitable for washdown areas or outdoor installation where dust and water jets are a concern, but not submersion.
Integration notes
The enclosure measures 165 x 175 x 177 mm (H x W x D) in polycarbonate, with four cable entries — two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 at both top and bottom. The padlocking device allows the starter to be locked in the OFF position for safe maintenance isolation per IEC 60204-1. The push-button controls are integrated: white start, black stop, and a red mushroom-head emergency stop.
Designed and tested to IEC 60947-4-1 (contactors and motor-starters) and IEC 60204-1 (safety of machinery — electrical equipment). The IP55 / IK07 protection class is per IEC 60529.
