Thermal protection adjusts from 4 to 6.3 A. The polycarbonate enclosure carries IP55 protection, so it withstands hose-directed water and dust ingress — suitable for washdown areas, outdoor shelters, and food-grade production zones where a standard panel would need additional sealing. It integrates a contactor and circuit-breaker (motor-protective device) in one housing, with a red mushroom-head emergency-stop pushbutton, a white start pushbutton, and a black stop pushbutton on the cover.
The 4...6.3 A thermal adjustment range directly selects the motor full-load current. For a 3 kW motor at 440 V AC, the starter is correctly sized; at 220/230 V AC the same unit handles 1.1 kW, and at 400/415 V AC it covers 2.2 kW. The AC-3 rating confirms it makes and breaks motor starting currents, not just resistive loads. Cable entries: four knockouts — two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 — at both top and bottom, giving flexibility for incoming supply and outgoing motor cables without drilling.
