Enclosed DOL starter with integrated safety
The TeSys LG7K06Q704A04 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter from the TeSys LG range, combining a contactor and circuit-breaker in a single IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. It is rated for AC-3 motor starting duty and thermally adjustable from 0.4 to 0.63 A, covering a 0.18 kW motor at 400/415 V AC 50/60 Hz. The unit includes a red mushroom-head push-button emergency stop (E-stop) as the control interface, making it a self-contained safety solution for local motor control per IEC 60947-4-1 and IEC 60204-1. The IP55 rating means the enclosure protects against dust ingress and water jets, suitable for washdown areas or outdoor installation under cover.
Protection and control
The thermal protection adjustment range of 0.4...0.63 A sets the overload trip point for the connected motor. The AC-3 utilisation category means it is rated for starting squirrel-cage motors and switching them off during running — the common duty for a DOL starter.
