Enclosed DOL starter with integrated safety
The Schneider Electric TeSys LG7K06Q706A04 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter combining a contactor and circuit-breaker in a single IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. It is designed for safety applications per IEC 60204-1 and IEC 60947-4-1, with a mushroom-head red pushbutton emergency stop. Thermal protection adjusts from 1 to 1.6 A, matching motors rated 0.25 kW at 220/230 V AC or 0.55 kW at 400/415 V AC and 440 V AC, all at 50/60 Hz. The control circuit runs on 380/400 V AC. The enclosure measures 177 mm deep, 175 mm wide, and 165 mm high, with four cable entries (2 Pg 13 + 2 Pg 16) on both top and bottom. IK07 impact resistance means it handles incidental knocks on the panel floor.
The 1...1.6 A thermal adjustment range sets the motor full-load current it protects — size the overload dial to the motor nameplate FLA, not the breaker rating. IP55 means the enclosure is dust-protected and resists water jets from any direction — suitable for washdown areas in food processing or outdoor installation under a canopy. The polycarbonate material is UV-stable for outdoor exposure but check chemical compatibility with aggressive cleaning agents.
