Enclosed DOL starter for motor safety circuits
The Schneider Electric TeSys LG7K06U707A04 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter combining a contactor and circuit-breaker in one IP55 polycarbonate housing. It is designed for safety applications — the mushroom-head red push-button emergency stop is integral to the cover — and carries IEC 60947-4-1 and IEC 60204-1 compliance, so it fits into machine guarding circuits where a single enclosure simplifies wiring and panel space. Rated for AC-3 utilisation, it handles 0.37 kW at 230 V AC, 0.75 kW at 400 V AC, and 1.1 kW at 440 V AC — typical for small conveyors, pumps, and fans. The thermal protection adjustment range of 1.6…2.5 A covers standard 0.75 kW motor full-load currents at 400 V three-phase.
Enclosure and integration
The polycarbonate enclosure measures 165 mm high × 175 mm wide × 177 mm deep, with IK07 impact resistance. Cable entries: four knockouts — two Pg 13 and two Pg 16 — on both top and bottom faces, giving flexibility for top-entry or bottom-entry gland plates. The IP55 rating means it withstands hose-down cleaning and dust ingress, suitable for food-and-bev or washdown environments.
Control circuit and coil
The coil is rated for continuous duty; no separate control transformer is needed when the line voltage matches the coil rating. The standard-environment classification means no special coating for corrosive atmospheres.
