Enclosed DOL starter with integrated safety controls
The Schneider TeSys LG7K06V706 is an enclosed direct-on-line starter rated for AC-3 motor switching, delivering 0.55 kW at 400/415 V AC 50/60 Hz and 0.55 kW at 440 V AC. The thermal protection adjustment range of 1...1.6 A sets the overload relay to match the motor full-load current within that window. The 400 V AC coil (50/60 Hz) is line-powered from the same supply, so no separate control transformer is needed when the motor supply is 400 V.
Control interface and safety function
The front panel integrates a white push-button for start, a black push-button for stop, and a red mushroom-head push-button for emergency stop. This makes the LG7K06V706 a self-contained safety device for local motor control — no separate E-stop station to mount and wire. The device is classified as a safety application and complies with IEC 60947-4-1 (contactor-starters) and IEC 60204-1 (safety of machinery).
