The LG7K06V707 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter from the TeSys LG range, combining a contactor and circuit-breaker in a single IP55 polycarbonate enclosure. It's a safety-rated device (IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60204-1) with push-button start/stop and a mushroom-head emergency stop, designed for standard-environment motor control panels where a compact, self-contained starter is needed.
The thermal protection adjustment range of 1.6 to 2.5 A sets the motor full-load current it can protect — sized for small motors. The AC-3 utilisation category means it's rated for starting squirrel-cage motors and switching them off while running, not just resistive loads. Motor power capability varies by line voltage: 0.37 kW at 220/230 V AC, 0.75 kW at 400/415 V AC, and 1.1 kW at 440 V AC, all 50/60 Hz. The 400 V AC control coil voltage means the starter's own control circuit must be fed from a 400 V phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral supply, depending on the system configuration.
Enclosure and Mounting Notes
The polycarbonate enclosure measures 175 mm wide by 165 mm high by 177 mm deep. IP55 rating means it's protected against dust ingress and water jets from any direction — suitable for washdown areas or outdoor installation under cover. IK07 impact protection handles low-energy mechanical shocks. Cable entries are provided: 4 x Pg 13 and 2 x Pg 16 at both top and bottom, giving flexibility for incoming supply and outgoing motor leads.
