The Schneider Electric TeSys LG7K09Q714A04 is an enclosed direct-on-line (DOL) starter combining a contactor and circuit-breaker in a single polycarbonate enclosure. It's built for standard-environment motor control with a built-in safety stop — the red mushroom-head push-button on the cover serves as the emergency-stop actuator. Rated for AC-3 duty, it switches a 4 kW motor at 400/415 V AC (50/60 Hz) and also covers 4 kW at 440 V AC or 1.5 kW at 220/230 V AC. The thermal overload relay adjusts from 6 to 10 A, so it's sized for a motor full-load current in that band. The control coil is 380/400 V AC. The enclosure carries IP55 protection — dust-protected and hose-down resistant — plus IK07 impact resistance, so it's suited for installation on a machine frame or wall in a workshop or light industrial floor where occasional washdown happens. Dimensions are 175 mm wide, 165 mm high, 177 mm deep.
Designed and tested to IEC 60947-4-1 (the standard for contactors and motor-starters) and IEC 60204-1 (safety of machinery — electrical equipment). That means the combination of contactor, circuit-breaker, and emergency-stop push-button is coordinated for motor starting and isolation under a single set of type-tested ratings.
