What a reversing contactor does in the panel
A reversing contactor like the LP2-D0901-BD swaps two of the three motor phases to reverse a three-phase induction motor — used on conveyors, hoists, door drives, and any load that needs forward/reverse without a separate reversing starter assembly. The mechanical interlock is built into the contactor block, so the forward and reverse coils cannot both pull in simultaneously.
