The LR3D33696 is a non-differential thermal overload relay from the Schneider TeSys LRD series, designed for motor protection in industrial control panels. Rated Class 10A per IEC 60947-4-1, meaning it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2x the set current — a standard requirement for protecting standard induction motors during start-up. The phase failure sensitivity is set to trip at 130% of Ir on two phases when the third is at zero, which catches a lost phase before the motor overheats.
The auxiliary contact configuration is 1 NO + 1 NC, which provides feedback to the PLC or a holding circuit on the contactor coil. The power circuit screw-clamp terminals accept 4 to 35 mm² cable, and the control circuit terminals accept up to 2 x 2.5 mm². Tightening torque is 1.7 N·m for control and 9 N·m for power circuits. Complies with EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, among others. Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 600 V for CSA/UL and 750 V for IEC. The rated operational voltage (Ue) is 1000 V AC for the power circuit. Dielectric strength is 2.2 kV at 50 Hz.
