The Schneider LRD10S207 is a differential thermal overload relay from the TeSys Deca range, designed for motor protection in AC circuits up to 690 V. Its thermal protection adjustment range of 4-6 A means it directly protects motors with a full-load current in that band — set the dial to match the motor nameplate FLA, and the relay tracks the thermal load via a bi-metal element. The Class 10A trip class (per IEC 60947-4-1) means it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current, fast enough for standard induction motor starts without nuisance tripping on normal acceleration. The 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contact set provides the feedback path to the control circuit — the NC contact breaks the contactor coil on a trip, the NO signals the PLC or HMI. Phase-failure sensitivity is built in: the relay trips at 130% of Ir when one phase drops to zero, so a lost phase won't cook the motor winding before the operator notices.
Mounts directly under a TeSys D contactor — no extra bracket needed for that combination. For panel or rail mounting, specific accessories are required. The screw-clamp terminals on the power circuit accept 1.5-10 mm² flexible cable (without ferrule) or 1-6 mm² solid, torqued to 1.7 N·m. Signalling circuit terminals take 1-2.5 mm², same torque.
