The Schneider LRD15166 is a TeSys Deca differential thermal overload relay for motor protection, with a thermal protection adjustment range of 9...13 A and a Class 20 tripping characteristic per IEC 60947-4-1. It provides phase-failure sensitivity, tripping at 130 % of the set current (Ir) on two phases when the third is at zero — a standard requirement for three-phase motor protection. The relay is rated for use on power circuits up to 690 V AC at 0...400 Hz, with an impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV and dielectric strength of 1.89 kV at 50 Hz per IEC 60947-1.
Compliant with EN/IEC 60947-4-1, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, UL 60947-4-1, UL 60947-5-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1, and CSA C22.2 No 60947-5-1, covering motor protection and control circuit applications in North American and European installations. Rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 600 V per CSA and UL, and 690 V per IEC 60947-4-1 for the power circuit.
The relay has a width of 45 mm, depth of 92 mm, and a connection pitch of 17.5 mm for the control circuit screw-clamp terminals. Control circuit terminals accept 1...2.5 mm² flexible or solid wire (with or without cable end), tightened to 1.7 N.m. Power circuit uses lugs-ring terminals at 2.3 N.m.
