The Schneider Electric LUCB05BTQ is an advanced control unit from the TeSys U family, designed for basic protection and advanced functions including communication for 3-phase motor applications.
Rated motor power spans 1.5 kW at 400–440 V AC up to 3 kW at 690 V AC, so it covers standard European low-voltage motor sizes in that band. The 24 V AC control circuit is common in industrial panels where a control transformer supplies the coil bus. The unit provides earth fault protection, phase failure and phase imbalance detection, overload and short-circuit protection, and manual reset — all in one package. That consolidates multiple discrete relays into a single control unit, reducing wiring and panel space.
