Overview
The LV432748 is a Schneider ComPact NSX400F molded case circuit breaker rated 320 A on a 3-pole frame with a 40 kA IC at 415 V AC, built to EN/IEC 60947. It carries a MicroLogic 1.3 M electronic trip unit configured for motor protection (short-circuit magnetic only), fixed-mount toggle control, and a 690 V AC rated insulation voltage.
The 320 A rating and 40 kA IC suit it for motor branch circuits where the fault current at the panel does not exceed 40 kA; the MicroLogic 1.3 M provides magnetic-only protection, so upstream coordination with a separate overload relay is required for motor overload.
Compared to the LV438720 (2-pole, 160 A, 10 kA IC), the LV432748 doubles the pole count and current rating while quadrupling the breaking capacity — the LV438720 fits single-phase or lower-fault panels, while the LV432748 handles three-phase motor circuits with higher available fault current.
