The LV838881 is a Schneider Electric MasterPact MTZ2 drawout circuit breaker, rated 800 A continuous at 40 °C, 3-pole, with L breaking capacity (200 kA Icu at 240 V AC, 150 kA at 480 V, 100 kA at 600 V per UL 489). It ships without a Micrologic trip unit — you supply the trip unit separately. This is a protection device for main or feeder service in switchgear, sized for 800 A line current with a 9 ms maximum break time and 70 ms closing response.

The 30 kA short-time withstand (Icw) for 0.5 s per UL 489 means it holds through delayed tripping for selective coordination downstream. Drawout mounting allows the breaker to be racked out for maintenance or replacement without disturbing the bus connections.
