The LV839092 is a Schneider Electric Masterpact MTZ3 50 HC switch disconnector rated for 5000 A at 104 °F (40 °C) in a 3-pole fixed-mount configuration. It's built for distribution duty with a push-button control interface and AC network type.
Breaking capacity and withstand
Breaking capacity steps: 200 kA Icu at 254 V AC, 200 kA Icu at 508 V AC, and 130 kA Icu at 635 V AC — all with an external relay per ANSI C37.50. The short-time withstand current (Icw) is 100 kA for 1.5 s per the same standard. For a 5000 A frame, these numbers put it in the high-capability tier of the Masterpact family.
Physical envelope: 30.2 in (767 mm) wide, 13.9 in (352.2 mm) tall, 11.7 in (297.7 mm) deep. Connection pitch is 9.06 in (230 mm) — that's the center-to-center spacing for the bus bars or cable lugs on each pole. Fixed-mount chassis means it bolts directly to a mounting plate or sub-base; no draw-out cradle. Panel builders need to account for the 30-inch width when laying out the switchboard section — that's a full cubicle width in most ANSI gear.
