The LV839235 is an MX opening voltage release for Schneider MasterPact MTZ drawout air circuit breakers. It's the coil that trips the breaker when voltage is applied — a control-side component, not a power path device. Control voltage is 100...130 V AC/DC, so it works on either supply without a rectifier module.
The threshold tripping voltage is 0.7...1.1 Un. Holding power is 4.5 W / 4.5 VA. Response time is 50 ms ± 10% across all MasterPact MTZ frames — MTZ1, MTZ2, and MTZ3. That's the mechanical trip time once the coil is energized; add the breaker's own arc-extinction time for total fault clearance. For coordination studies, treat the 50 ms as the opening-coil contribution.
Drawout mounting — what it connects to
Mounting mode is Drawout — this coil plugs into the MasterPact MTZ drawout cradle, not the fixed version. If your breaker is a fixed-mount MTZ, this won't fit; you need the fixed-mount MX variant. The drawout cradle has the same 50 ms response and 100...130 V AC/DC range, but the mechanical interface is different.
