The Schneider Electric LV839268 is an MN diagnostic undervoltage release for MasterPact MTZ drawout circuit breakers. It monitors the control circuit voltage and trips the breaker when voltage drops below the threshold — a safety function that prevents motor or equipment restart after a power dip.
Tripping threshold is 0.35 to 0.7 Un on opening and 0.85 Un on closing. Holding power draw is 4.5 W / 4.5 VA. Response time is 40 ms ±5% on MasterPact MTZ1, and 90 ms ±5% on MTZ2 and MTZ3 frames.
Drawout mounting means this release plugs into the MasterPact MTZ cradle — no hard wiring to the breaker itself. The signalling function (coil powered MN open error) gives a remote indication that the undervoltage coil is energized and the breaker is ready to close, or that a trip has occurred. For a safety circuit, this diagnostic output lets a PLC or safety relay confirm the breaker state without adding auxiliary contacts.
