MasterPact MTZ1 — LV847112
The LV847112 is a fixed-mount MasterPact MTZ1 circuit breaker, 3-pole, rated 630 A at 40 °C. The 9 ms maximum break time and 50 ms closing response mean it clears faults fast enough for selective coordination with downstream devices.
The Ics (service breaking capacity) is 150 kA at 415 V, 130 kA at 440 V, and 100 kA at 500/525 V; the Icm (making capacity) hits 330 kA peak at 415 V. Those numbers tell you it's sized for high-fault-current main or feeder positions, not branch circuits. The Icw (short-time withstand) is 10 kA for 0.5 s — enough for downstream device coordination in a selective system.
Fixed-mount design — no draw-out cradle. Mounts on rails or a base plate. Connection pitch is 70 mm; both upside and downside connections accept front or rear terminations. That's a panel-builder detail: rear connection keeps the busbar run clean, front connection simplifies cable landing. The 276 mm width, 301 mm height, and 209 mm depth fit a standard distribution cubicle.
Also complies with IEC 61557-12 for insulation monitoring. IP30 protection rating keeps fingers out but expects enclosure mounting for washdown areas.
