What this control unit does
The Schneider Electric LV847281WW is a MicroLogic 2.0 Xi electronic control unit for MasterPacT drawout circuit breakers. It provides LI protection — long-time overload (ANSI 49) and instantaneous short-circuit (ANSI 50) — with an LCD display showing metered values. The trip unit rating covers 400 A, 630 A, 800 A, 1000 A, 1250 A, and 1600 A, so you match it to the breaker frame rating. This is a wired-control unit with a 128 x 96 pixel LCD. It measures current (I1, I2, I3, Iavg, IN RMS, Ig RMS), voltage (phase-to-phase and phase-to-neutral), active/reactive/apparent power, energy, power factor, frequency, THD, and unbalance. Accuracy runs ±0.5 % on current and voltage, ±1 % on active power and energy, ±2 % on reactive power and power factor. Measurement voltage range is 208…828 V AC phase-to-phase and 120…480 V AC phase-to-neutral at 50/60 Hz. The unit is indoor-use only, pollution degree 3, overvoltage category IV, and operates up to 5000 m altitude with voltage derating to 560 V AC.
Drawout mounting — the control unit plugs into the MasterPacT breaker cradle. No DIN-rail or panel cutout needed. The USB peer-to-peer port at 115 kbaud lets you pull logs or update settings locally without removing the unit. Protected poles configurable as 3P 3d, 4P 3d, 4P 3d + N/2, 4P 4d, or 4P 3d + OSN. Neutral protection setting follows: 1 x Ir (4P 4d), 0.5 x Ir (4P 3d + N/2), 1.6 x Ir (4P 3d + OSN), or no protection (4P 3d).

Data recording includes time-stamped event logs, alarm logs, maintenance logs, and min/max of instantaneous values. Accuracy class: Class 0.5 on voltage unbalance, Class 1 on active energy, Class 2 on THD (V).
