The Schneider LV848102 is a MasterPact MTZ2 fixed-mount circuit breaker rated 4000 A at 40 °C — that is the continuous current the main contacts carry without exceeding the thermal limit. The Ics service breaking capacity at the same voltage is also 100 kA, so the breaker can reclose after clearing a fault at its full rating — not a one-shot device. For higher voltages, Ics derates to 85 kA at 500/525 V and 85 kA at 660/690 V. The 4-pole (4P) configuration with neutral on the right suits distribution panels where full four-pole isolation is required.
Fixed-mount design — no draw-out cradle. The breaker bolts directly to rails or a base plate, with front and rear connection options on both the line and load sides. Connection pitch is 150 mm. Dimensions: 537 mm wide, 352 mm high, 300 mm deep. IP30 enclosure protection means it is suitable for indoor panel mounting where tools are required to access energized parts. Operating altitude range is 0–2000 m without derating; above that, derate per the manufacturer's curve.
Certified to EN/IEC 60947-1 (general rules), EN/IEC 60947-2 (circuit-breakers), EN/IEC 60947-2 Annex H (electromagnetic compatibility for circuit-breakers), and IEC 61557-12 (measuring equipment for IT systems). Rated impulse withstand voltage (Uimp) is 12 kV. Short-time withstand current (Icw) is 85 kA for 0.5 s and 1 s, 75 kA for 3 s — important for selective coordination studies.
