The Schneider Electric LV848334 is a MasterPact MTZ3 drawout circuit breaker, 4-pole, rated 5000 A at 40 °C. Isolation-rated per EN/IEC 60947-2, so it doubles as a visible-break disconnect when racked out.
That 100 kA Ics holds across the full voltage band — 220/415 V, 440 V, 500/525 V, and 660/690 V AC — so you don't lose breaking capacity on higher-voltage feeds. Short-time withstand (Icw) is 100 kA for 3 seconds, which is what lets it coordinate with downstream breakers on a high-fault bus. Making capacity (Icm) at 220 kA means it can close into a bolted fault without welding contacts. Maximum breaking time is 25 ms, closing response 80 ms — fast enough to limit arc-flash energy on a main breaker. Power dissipation at rated load is 670 W, so factor that into your enclosure ventilation calc, especially in a row of drawout cassettes.
Drawout mounting and panel fit
This is a drawout breaker — the moving portion racks into a fixed chassis (sold separately). With chassis, the envelope is 403 mm deep × 1016 mm wide × 479 mm high. Without chassis, 300 mm deep × 838 mm wide × 300 mm high. Connection pitch is 230 mm, rear-connected both top and bottom. Mounts on rails or a base plate. IP30 front face — suitable for indoor switchgear, not washdown areas.
Also complies with IEC 61557-12 for insulation monitoring. Pollution degree 3 (industrial environment). Insulation voltage 1000 V AC, impulse withstand 12 kV. Altitude rated to 2000 m without derating, 2000–5000 m with derating.
