MicroLogic 7.0 Xi — what this control unit does
The LV848362WW is a MicroLogic 7.0 Xi electronic control unit for MasterPacT drawout circuit breakers. It provides LSIG protection — overload (long-time), short-time, instantaneous short-circuit, and earth-leakage — plus full power metering on a 128 x 96 pixel LCD display. The trip unit rating spans 800 A to 3200 A, covering the MTZ1, MTZ2, and MTZ3 frame sizes. Rated operational voltage is 600 VAC. This is the metering-grade control unit for the MasterPacT range. It measures current per phase (I1, I2, I3, Iavg, IN RMS), voltage phase-to-phase and phase-to-neutral, active/reactive/apparent power and energy, power factor, frequency, THD for current and voltage, unbalance, and earth leakage current. Accuracy on current and voltage is ±0.5 %; active energy is ±1 %. Deployment context: this unit goes into a drawout MasterPacT breaker in a switchboard or motor control center. The LCD display gives local readout of all metered values without needing a separate power meter or HMI.
Protection and metering in one package
The MicroLogic 7.0 Xi combines LSIG protection with a Class 0.5 power meter. Protection functions include overload (long-time) per ANSI 49, instantaneous short-circuit per ANSI 50, short-time short-circuit per ANSI 51, and earth-leakage per ANSI 51G. Thermal memory is built in. Neutral protection is configurable: 1 x Ir for 4P 4d, 0.5 x Ir for 4P 3d + N/2, 1.6 x Ir for 4P 3d + OSN, or no protection for 4P 3d. Metering covers all standard electrical parameters: current, voltage, power, energy, power factor, frequency, THD, unbalance, and demand values. The LCD display shows 128 x 96 pixels — enough for one-line diagrams and real-time values. Data recording includes maintenance logs, min/max of instantaneous values, time stamping, data logs, event logs, and alarm logs. Communication is via USB peer-to-peer at 115 kbauds for local configuration and data download. The control unit is compatible with MasterPacT drawout breakers in 3P and 4P configurations, with protected poles options of 3P 3d, 4P 3d, 4P 3d + N/2, 4P 4d, and 4P 3d + OSN.
