What this breaker does on your line
The LV848437 is a Schneider Electric MasterPact MTZ2 32 H1 drawout circuit breaker rated 3200 A at 40 °C. That 3200 A continuous rating means it handles the full incoming feed for a large distribution board or a high-current industrial load — not a branch breaker, this is the main or a big feeder. Category B selectivity means it coordinates with downstream breakers — a fault on a branch trips the branch, not this main, keeping the rest of the plant live. Four-pole (4P) construction, drawout mount. The drawout chassis lets you rack the breaker out for maintenance or swap without killing power to the bus — a real advantage when you're working on a live switchboard and can't schedule a full shutdown. Neutral position is on the right.
Physical fit — what fits in the cubicle
With the drawout chassis installed, the breaker measures 403 mm deep, 556 mm wide, and 439 mm high. Without the chassis — if you're swapping just the breaker element into an existing cradle — it's 300 mm deep, 493 mm wide, and 300 mm high. The 115 mm connection pitch matches the standard MasterPact MTZ busbar spacing, so retrofitting into an existing MTZ switchboard is straightforward. Mounts on rails or a base plate.
Standards and compliance — what the nameplate tells you
That means it's accepted for IEC-based installations worldwide — Europe, Asia, Middle East, most of Africa. Rated insulation voltage 1000 V AC, impulse withstand 12 kV.
