The LV848549 is a locking kit for MasterPact MTZ2 and MTZ3 fixed and drawout circuit breakers and switch disconnectors. It locks the device in the OFF position using a Ronis keylock — one lock, one key supplied per the kit. This is a panel-mounted accessory that integrates with the breaker's existing mechanical interlock provisions; no modification to the breaker chassis is required.
Locking position and keying detail
The keylock engages only in the OFF position — the breaker must be in the open (tripped or manually switched off) state before the key can be inserted and turned. This satisfies the isolation requirement for lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures under NFPA 70E and IEC 60947-2 Annex K. The Ronis key profile is proprietary; replacement keys must be ordered through the Ronis system or Schneider's key-coding service.
